Famous and historical restaurant since 1942. This is my 2nd time visit to this shop after 9 years ago. This time i ordered fish porridge, pork porridge, sticky rice, half boiled egg, roti kaya, dimsum, pak tung ko, and motabak. All foods are delicious except the sticky rice. The sticky rice feel dry and just sweet. A lot of local people having their breakfast at the restaurant. The environment is good. The coffee also good to try. Recommended. Just the service not so good.

One of the oldest and best cafes in NST, still very popular with the locals. Great old school coffee and tea. Lots of other drink options. Open for lunch too so they do serve rice. Great breakfast options. The best part of the cafe is the staff, very friendly and attentive. Overall great atmosphere and we loved it! Went there twice during our 1 night stay.

A fun place to have breakfast. Traditional foods weren't very traditional; but acceptable for tourists. Varieties of choices from simple coffee and soft boiled eggs to Bah-Gut-Tae and Timsum. Shop was decorated very nicely though. Lots of parking.

Great decoration of Thai style restaurant. It ever provided good food and service but nothing anymore now. It is decoration like old style and serve you many choices of food especially "BugGoodTae" The test is just acceptable but not good as before. The service was quite poor by less Care on customers and some menus is not available but not inform.

Famous restaurant in Kopitiam style, serving classic Singapore breakfast and lunch dishes. I think the main attraction of this restaurant is the décor that is like a time travel back to the 60ties, it looks a bit like some older style kopitiams in Singapore Chinatown and Geylang. The food was ok-ish. We had the speciality pork Bak Kut The, which was average in taste and a bit pricy for the portion. Unfortunately they were already sold out of Congee and Benjarong sticky rice when we arrived around 1pm. In fact the place was nearly empty at this time. So we tried the egg noodles with pork leg and a char siew (red pork) dim sum. Both were fine, but not quite up to the standard that we are used of from Singapore and Malaysia. In our view this place is only worth for a visit if you are interested in the old style décor, the food was just average. One big bonus point is that they have a full English menu.
